I am not an atheist when I say aham brahmasmi. I am neither religious to say I will submit anything and everything to god. By doing so you are only blaming god for the misdeeds and praising him for what you did. Then WHO AM I and what is GOD?
I would say I am a Hindu by birth, Hindu by brought up, I am the GOD by my recent obtained insight and what I want to achieve is to be a Brahman, the ness.
A Brahman is not by birth - but as per deeds.
Religion, in my vantage point, is the methodology of living a rightful life. Be CHRISTIANITY which says to love all, be ISLAM which preaches oneness of god , be HINDUISM which is an ocean of living standards, or any other religion that has been spawned by humans , they all have one motive that all other animals have : SURVIVAL and continuity of life.
I go to temples. I have been brought up that way. The mighty meenakshi temple is the heart of my city.
When you go to temple you go with a good motive. The motive is a thought.
I like praying because prayers are thoughts .
Thoughts make me.
I am the “ME”
For those who ridicule the deity workshop of Hinduism, I would like to answer that when I worship a deity, I am praying. The deity is not different from me. It’s also ME. My alter Ego. By purifying my alter ego, I am purifying myself.
Many religions have spawned superstitious beliefs and I would attribute that not to the religions but to the fools who practice that and associate themselves to the religion.
The driving concept of Hinduism is that Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva all are spawned out of shakthi(Energy). That means: the creation, sustaining, death are the same.Does this not coincide with the Law of conservation of energy “Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed……” So, is the law a recent invention or practiced by millions in India for thousands of years?
AbhyuthdaanaMadharmasya Thadatmanam Srujamyaham
~ Bhagavad Gita (Chapter IV-7)
Translation : Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion--at that time I descend Myself.
The "religious practice" mentioned is the SURVIVAL and “myself” is ME and YOU.
Aham Brahmasmi is the ultimate preaching of HINDUISM. I am a Hindu , I am the GOD.

Gud start buddy.....
ReplyDeleteGood initiative from the level of soul. I wonder about the rise of such thoughts in you as I haven't seen you talking from that level.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, the labels of Hinduism is quite inappropriate to understand the theme of blog, whether it supports Hinduism or it takes the reference of that religion to support another state of secular theme. Keep exploring!
